Your Flight
Mildura Ballooning fly daily at dawn, weather conditions permitting and subject to passenger bookings. Mildura with it's vineyards, orchards, lakes and rivers, combined with stable weather patterns, makes it an excellent location to enjoy a relaxing champagne balloon flight or joy flight via one of the oldest forms of free flight in the world today. Your Hot Air Balloon adventure begins when you are collected by our 4WD people mover, and transported to the launch field. For us to assess the best possible location to set up the forecast weather conditions are confirmed again prior to launch by releasing a small test balloon.

Once we arrive at the launch site we'll unpack the balloon (envelope) and basket and inflate the balloon with a hands on set-up. This takes approximately half an hour.

After a passenger briefing your balloon will float gently over the Mildura region, taking in many spectacular views, whilst your pilots, Andrew Musgrove or Alan Cameron, provide an informed commentary on the scene below. Our objective is to stay close to the Murray River while we drift.

After packing up the balloon, we will return to the Enjoywine Restaurant where you'll enjoy a full breakfast to compliment your mornings adventure and a celebration toast to your flight.

After breakfast and the presentation of your flight certificate we will return you to your accommodation. The total experience from meeting to final goodbyes is approximately 4 hours.
